Your grades are great! I was considered the 'brain-box' of the family, sailing through my exams with A's. My sister (who's in her 20's so not far off your age) has a single 'A' level in English Lit. She got into what was considered a 'second rate' university via clearing and graduated with a 2:2 in English. She now earns more than me!
It's how you apply yourself in life that matters, although at this time in your life I can understand that grades mean everything. I'm sure you'll do well whatever you decide - a good sense of humour, empathy and common sense gets you far and you seem to have that in abundance!!!!
