You will probably laugh but...

It's about a boy who wanted to get out of the house to go on a bike ride with his mates, but his mum didn't like the idea. Eventually, the boy got out of the house. Then, his dad chased him in his car, but the boy went into the forest and cycled away. Suddenly, the boy gets stopped by some penguin monsters, who play nasty tricks on him. The next morning, the boy escapes from them and manages to get back home.

Well no..mine was one where all of us Y11s go to look at what 6th form subjects school offers and talk to them about options and hear the deputy head rant about how amazingly fab school is...and it doesnt help that school seems to have turned on central heating so that indoors resembles a greenhouse/sauna type place which always makes my face go really red!!

I just came back from helping out from open evening,

Those parents have so many questions plus I had no idea what I was doing so I was putting my block of wood into the vice, drew a line, started measuring the line and took the peice of wood out. Repeat until all parents have left the building.

Then I had to help out with the car parking (YAY), it was quite dangerous actually because the cars wouln't stop and left me running about the school. I could sue them...

Kind of...hmmm... Biology, Chemistry, Maths and hopefully, Psychology...though we all have to do general studies anyway too...Think that'll do ok for medicine/science/something psychologyish? biggrin.gif unsure.gif ph34r.gif

I was helping out at a parents evening once for the new year 7s coming up...think this was last year....and one of the mothers asked me 'Do the teachers bully the kids??' ph34r.gif

Probably. Although (and I might be wrong), I thought some places viewed Psychology as a slightly easy option. Oh, and you should be doing Further Maths too biggrin.gif

A friend of mine was showing people round and commented on the strong anti-drugs policy the school has. He then made a joke to the kid saying "So don't bring your drugs into school with you", to be greeted by stone-faced and concerned faces from the parents who spent the rest of the evening thinking he was a stoner.

My day wasn't bad either: Maths, Music, ICT. Then we went home because it was a half day to make way for open evening.

By the way, I start school tomorrow at 9:45, which is an hour earlier than I usually do!

We don't have to go to school tomorrow because it's an Inset day biggrin.gif

Got to go to careers convention at 6pm though, in school uniform too...
