A friend of mine was showing people round and commented on the strong anti-drugs policy the school has. He then made a joke to the kid saying "So don't bring your drugs into school with you", to be greeted by stone-faced and concerned faces from the parents who spent the rest of the evening thinking he was a stoner.
Last year, i had to help show round prospective students' parents round the school on open day, and there was one lady, who thought that sixth formers just sat in their classes smoking drugs. We assured her that no-one smoked on the premises, but she kept looking in various classrooms just to check.

I'll keep an eye open for them; I bought Tesco ones whilst I was in, looking for something to have for breakfast other than toast.
I warmed it by placing it across the top of my coffee whilst it was cooling, the chocolate chips had just started to melt *drool*.
As for multiplying out brackets: the key thing is that you need to multiply each of the things in the first bracket by each of the things in the second. The box method makes sure you do; as does the smilie face method. I think of
(a + b)(c + d)
as being
a (c + d) + b (c + d)
then just multiply out :)

ooo multiplaying out brackets. *shudders* I use the FOIL method.
Firsts, Outers, Inners, Lasts.
E.g
(a+

(a+

F= axa = a(squared)
O= axb = ab
I= axb = ab
L= bxb = b(squared)
then add up all the little bits:
a(squared)+ab+ab+b(squared)
=a(squared)+b(squares)+2ab
