Not particularly- at least, nothing that I know is organised (apart from when organists e-mail to ask for recitals/ can I try the organ etc). We have links with other churches in Yorkshire so I can play recitals there next year.

I just meant, that this particular audition was really relaxed, I mean it wasn't even called an audition they just said "oh hi are you going to play for us then?, okay dokay, take your time then." and it was soo informal, unlike an exam. if you get me?

Or I would walk in, try and put music on the stand consequently knocking it over, try and pick it up and drop my violin and in the muddle rip my music and fall over myself.

I know he has done some directing, but I don't think he has ever tried an hour. And I had a chat with one of my friends who said that I didn't look like a windmill! (Although I do wonder how many of them listen and watch me!)

Hi R, I'm fine thank you. I have found that when I conduct my new choir I have to do a lot more sign language rather than anything resembling formal conducting as they don't understand it otherwise. I am sure that I look really funny. Was it the school orch?

There was one substantial chunk of tree at the back during LRO. It was next to the Pezold contras, but I don't know that it was a sub-contra....
Edit: On reflection it would have been around 7ft tall, so probably a contra not a sub contra
