I am going to buy my own cello soon (after borrowing my mums...) and wondered which make you think is the best....

It's really more a case of what is best for what you are able and willing to spend.

The best thing to do is set yourself a price and then look around for instruments at around that price... be prepaired to go a little higher than your initial price, as you look at cellos you start realising that you can get better and better for a little extra....

My Cello is a stentor II cello but as they come off the shelf they arnt very good so I had mine done up by an instrument restorer. Which of course is another option open to you...
