Just thought I'd pass on my latest find... biggrin.gif

OXFAM secondhand bookshop - got oodles of sheetmusic really cheap e.g. ABRSM sight-reading books for 49p each, Chopin's complete Mazukas for 1.99 etc all really good condition.

I was tempted by a rare biography of Shostakovich...but they wanted £22 for it...so I'll have to have a long think first! huh.gif

OXFAM in Reading went one better last summer and opened a separate music shop! They already had a bookshop which had been carrying sheet music, recordings etc. I bought vocal scores of Vaughan Williams Sea Symphony and two Haydn Masses, as well as two Kodaly books and a couple of smaller items last week. smile.gif

I thought their pricing was quite odd, as a small choral leaflet with a single carol was £1.99 but the much bigger vocal scores were only £2.99 and £3.99 even though one of them looked brand new.
