My exams is in August, but i cant play the A piece well enough for the exam. I chose Scarlatti Sonata in D minor Kp444. Any tips to practice? sad.gif

Yes, I agree- practise it slowly until you've got it perfect and then speed it up. Oh- and practise your arpeggios too, it will help! biggrin.gif

Practice hands separately - slowly and then speed them up, then put the two hands together, slowly at first getting faster and faster until its up to speed!

Thanks so much. I'll try. Cant really control my left hand - especially the chords movement. sad.gif

I've had that problem with this particular piece too, if you mean the broken chords- the left hand parts tend to run away with me and I end up in a mess. I think the key really is slow, steady practice before you try to play it at speed.

Yap...thats exactly what it is. There are broken chords everywhere. Sigh.... sad.gif dont know if it is a good time to change piece now. unsure.gif
