I just got a new piano which is dusty inside ( on the strings) & some of the keys.
the guy said that it's normal for new pianos that has just come from the factory. Is this normal?

Seems odd.

That seems very unusual for a new piano.......

I would ask questions and make a fuss. Especially if you've paid more on the basis that it's brand new.

mine had no dust at all!

Well, mine actually was brand new, but to avoid tax, they brough in as a "second hand" piano.... It arrived on the back of a pick up at 11pm at nite, where a couple of physically laborous men prought it in, it was wrapped in a blanket lol


But even so.. Still no dust...
