Im from the US and have no clue what A Level music is. I was wondering what are the general requirements for most of the conservatories like RCM, and RAM. I play the harp and can read music but cant sight read yet. Do the colleges assume you can sight read? Also Ive never played a pedal harp. Just a lever harp, do the auditions for harp require a pedal harp? Thanks for any replies.

The most important qualifications for a British Conservatoires are the G8 Practical and G5 Theory. Overseas Students are not expected to have A level music. YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BE ABLE TO SIGHT READ FLUENTLY! You will have to attend an audition which can take place in the USA. In the mean time email the conservatoires and they will send you the requirements.
