I play the oboe 2 but I don't know how you can play a really long piece and not have to stop in between to get your breath back, and how on earth do you turn the page or do you have someone to do it for you??????????????

Well, I'm learning Grade 3 scales, though.

Jul 13 2005, 08:12 PM
So what? That does not make you grade 3 standard...just because you're learning a few scales

i DON'T CARE- GET IT INTO YOUR HEAD
you are not grade 3 piano standard because you've only just passed grade 2. you might be working towards it but nothing else

well i've only played for 7.5 years and my teacher reckons that i should have no problem passing the Dip, but we're working on a international competition first, so it might wait 1 to 2 years.

Hi i passed grade 5 (but not taken theory yet) but playing grade 6
Looking at my exam certificates makes me realise i need to put my thinking hat on and pass some more exams-havent taken any in 15 years.
Ive 2 passes,2 merits and 1 distinction ).Would i be able to by practising on a Yamaha cvp 303 ?? instead of a normal piano ( i tend to take lessons on one though)
