wink.gif What is a good way to practice regularly, without worrying that other things will get in the way of my valuable practice time? I always find that somethings seem to eat up my practice time and by the end of the week i have only practiced 2 or 3 times. How can I find a way to prevent this?

Well, I normally practise my violin in the evening when all my homework is out of the way. Just 20 minutes a day will do just fine as long as you are working hard and practising scales the your teacher will be happy with u. trust me its works wink.gif

i normally practice in the morning before school (i don't advise this unless your neighbors are ok with you practicing at 4 in the morning) and when i get home from school (usually 5 or 6-ish).

i like practicing when i get home better because it a) you get things done and cool.gif it clears your mind. i leave homework and other things to do later in the night because i can always stay up late to do homework, but i can't practice at 12 midnight.
