Full Version: New Repertoire For The Summer

Hey everyone.

The summer holidays are nearly upon us (next week for us here in Scotland), and because I get piano lessons from the school, I'll not be having lessons for a while.

I'm just enquiring about good piano music, I'm about Grade 3 and I enjoy playing all styles of music, has anyone got any suggestions? I don't mind music that is a bit harder than Grade 3 (or easier for that matter).

Thanks! Hulk.

joe hisaishi joe hisaishi joe hisaishi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( go on google and search joe hisaishi nostalgia wind midi, and i will come up as this green and white page with gobbledigook on it. Listen to the stuff in english like summer, nostalgia and the wind of life, and you'll hear what his musics like.)
And i'm sure clarinetlover would say le onde if you cant already play it.

I would have said Le-Onde too but it is a bit beyond grade 3 I think. You could look at Pamela Wedgewood's between grades series, something like "Light Relief".

I can already play Le Onde, it's great, I'll have a look at the Pamela Wedgewood series.

Pam Wedgwood's After Hours series is great, and whilst pitched at around Grade 5 standard, some pieces are easier than others. Summer Nights from After Hours 2 is a great piece to play at the moment.
