Hi everyone,

I just took my Grade 3 exam on Violin (the first one i've ever taken) and i managed to get 127 marks, 3 away from distinction, the main reason i didn't get a distinction was 'cause of my sight reading even though, most of the time when i attend esembles, i'm very good at it.
Can anyone give me some tips?

Only practice, sorry to say. Have you tried sight reading your other grade 3 peices or even grade 1 and 2? You may make a mess of it at first but things get better!
