I'm not 13 yet, but I'm doing 5 this year so next year I'll be doing 6 and then I will be 13!

oh, yea! i don't think i was in any grade (not ABRSM anyway) b/c i didn't do all the grades step-by-step. yea, exams cost money, too, so i think i skipped out that year

um.... let me think..... i was at grade 8 piano when i was 13

i cant remeber that well!! i think i was grade 3 piano,grade 4 violin, 3 clarinet, but now im slightly better!!!!

I'm not 13 yet and i've just past my grade 7 with distinction!

I started playing the flute when I was 13, so grade 0. Or shortly before my 14th birthday, I was about grade 1 or 2.

I took my grade 5 just as I turned 12, so I suppose grade 6-7, although I refused to take exams between grade 5 and 8.

I think 13 is the age I was when I got a narrow pass at Grade 3 with the local County exam system...!

I think I was 13 when I had my last flute exam - a rather miserable Grade 4 pass of 102 .

Flute teacher suffered a nervous breakdown not long after that, and my brief and disastrous relationship with that instrument ended

I'll never forget the examiner's comment on my sight reading - "it might have helped if she had noticed the time signature, the key signature or any of the rhythms"

I had Grade 2 distinction when I turned 13.

What about "No Grade at all" at 13.

I could possibly have got Grade 8 "Playing the Beatles" (that is gramophone records) if there'd been one, as that was the extent of my musical knowledge at that time.

I can't actually remember even though it was only 3 years ago.

Lets think......I did grade 6 and 7 when I was 15, so I think at 13 it would have either been grade 4 (which I failed with 98 but moved on anyway ) or grade 5.

Most likely grade 4 I think.

At 13, I was about grade 3-4.

Well actually i'm 13 now, but i passed grade 8 piano with distinction when i was 12, and i will be doing ATCL soon.

I'm 13 and working towards grade 6 violin next term and grade 7 piano the term after (well actually the summer term exams are usually around my birthday so I MIGHT be 14 but it depends when they come)

Hhhmmmm... well I just turned 14 but did both Grade 8 violin and Grade 8 piano (with distinction) when I was 13!
