There is an excellent site for teachers and students of music run by a young Australian (I think) guy, name of Philip Johnston.
Many of us know of it and have recommended it in the past. I came across it about a year and a half ago. Steve Hopwood suggested I post a mention in case some don't know of it.
Loads of ideas and resources for teachers and students alike. If you 've not seen it, have a look:

Thank you! I checked it out and it has a lot of great ideas! Here's another one for you teachers: www.musicteaching.com. I didn't have the time to check it out properly, but it looks good to me!

Just in the middle of reading "The Practice Revolution" by Philip Johnston and getting a lot out of it. It was worth £22!

Yep - good website! I've visited it quite frequently and I've also got the book - have you managed to get the "Not Until You've Done Your Practice!' book yet? I don't think it's available in this country but I haven't yet ordered it off the website.
