I did it!
I passed my grade 5!
I got 126 - A merit!
In the examiners comments she said had the scales of been stronger I would have got a distinction as the pieces were strong and the tone was good!
Im soo relieved..
Yay for adult lerners, all of us!

Congratulations, Pinkoi! Wonderful news, you must be thrilled. Especially as it was only the scales holding you back - from a performance point of view, who really cares about scales? So, when's your grade 6?

Well done, Pinkoi!
To get a merit despite an injured hand and a thorough soaking shows what a star you are!
Cheers

Fabulous result! Well done!
I haven't got the courage to face cello grades, being a late cello starter. Its great to see someone else doing it though - and such a high grade too!
I'm full of admiration.

Having played cello at school - and only reaching Grade 1, WELL DONE!!
I'm now an adult learner of Grade 5 piano , so it shows what a grounding in cello can do!

The raid did keep off and it was a great evening! My friend who accompanied me also passed her driving test the day i got my results so everyone was in high spirits...
Im very sad to have moved out now! I went back to the wrong house last night after i had been out. That really upset me!
