It's unlikely that k_pianodude will answer this question as the thread is 5 years old and k_pianodude hasn't been around since August 2005.

I've had professional teachers who didn't want to be professional performers, and I've had one professional performer who was an unprofessional teacher (IMO) and was only teaching for extra income. Give me the professional teacher over a professional performer-come-part-time teacher any time!


PS. I'm sure there are good performers-come-teachers around rolleyes.gif but my view is coloured by my experience.
