At Grade Six, what should be the speed be for the scales and arpeggios, eg play semiquavers at crotchet = 80 or whatever. Please don't say any speed as long as it's accurate - there must be a minimum acceptable speed.

The recommended minimum scale speeds are in 'These Music Exams'. If you mean piano grade 6: scales minim = 76 and arpeggios minim = 50 (both played in quavers as written in the scale manual).

They have recommended speeds in the abrsm scales and arpeggios book. They're really useful and can help to boost the grade that you het in the exam.
