I am listening to a CD, and it has the Sonata by Muczynski on it, and I am in love with it. What kind of grade is it, can anyone tell me more information?

I haven't played it, but I've got a CD with it on. I've just looked at the JustFlutes classification, which is a 9. They also say it (or part of it) is on the Guildhall Grade 8 list and the Trinity Performer's Certificate list, which suggests an easier 9 to me.

Hey there - I did it for my final recital at music college last year- its a wicked piece, a couple of movements I remember were pretty difficult and it also requires a lot of ensemble practise with a very accomplished accompanist! But go for it!
