Yes, I've played some. Which ones are you playing?
saxlover
I've got the book of all 12

Erm..1st one in D, another one in D which is in 6/8 and one in C which I can't remember!
sbhoa
No. 9 is fun.
The rondo from no. 2 (sound a bit likie 'cockles and mussels').
No. 6 too.

Are these the opus 12 ? Yes I like what I've heard of them.

One of my students played the Rondo from the Emajor (no 12) for grade 5 this year. I've looked for the complete book but it never seems to be in stock and I've not got round to ordering it.

I don't like the one on grade 5 syllabus....cannot get my head, or should I say fingers, around it at all

Yes

Oh I really liked it - mind I usually only had to listen to it!

It does need really neat finger-work and is perhaps trickier than it looks
But I'm sure you'd be up to it Nat.
saxlover
I've tried it, but it just annoys me because I can't do it.
SuzyMac
Yes - I did number 1 for my grade five (1997 I think). The allegro in D... Maggie's right, they do take a while to get your fingers around, but it is worth it.

Have just been to go and play it - I can still do it just about but b38-41 needed so much concentration! I remember tearing my hair out when I played it originally!

In my copy it's on page 2 about half way down, it's the bit where the RH is in semiquavers the whole time, almost Alberti bass style, but a different note each pair. Maddening!
saxlover
Yes I know the bit you mean- insane part! I am not fond of that bit!
