So, how do you think your team will do in the FA Cup 3rd round? Who do you think will get the shock results? My predictions are:
Car Expert's Selected FA Cup 3rd Round PredictionsBarnet v ColchesterI reckon there will be a shock home victory in this match. Both teams are doing well this season, but I feel Colchester's away record will let them down.
Prediction: 2-1Chelsea v MacclesfieldChelsea haven't been doing well during the festive period and they are now further and further away from clinching the title for the third season in a row.
Macclesfield have had a terrific season of late under Paul Ince, and they've won 8 out of their last 10 games, and are unbeaten in those last 10 games, yet they are still in the drop zone on goal difference. I just feel they will get something from this game and earn a replay at Moss Rose.
As for the score: two Conference sides held Manchester United to goalless draws in the last two seasons. Chelsea's last results in the league were 3-2, 3-2, 2-2, 2-2 and 0-0. You do the maths!
Prediction: 0-0Doncaster v BoltonThis is a big game for Doncaster at their new Keepmoat Stadium. They had a terrific result against Huddersfield on Monday, but I feel Bolton will have that edge to progress to the 4th round.
Prediction: 1-2Leicester v FulhamLeicester had a good result last season in the FA Cup, after coming from two goals down to beat Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Fulham haven't had good cup runs recently, losing to Leyton Orient in the FA Cup last season, and Wycombe in the Carling Cup this season.
Considering that and Fulham's away record, I think Leicester will nick the win here.
Prediction: 2-1Liverpool v ArsenalYep, it's the big match. Both teams meet again in the Carling Cup quarter-final (take 2) on Tuesday, and they will go into this match knowing that a defeat would ruin their 'good' chances of doing well in the FA Cup.
Both teams are unbeaten at their home grounds, so I'll have to go for a Liverpool win, but it will be a very tight and exciting affair.
Prediction: 2-1Nottingham Forest v CharltonBoth of these teams endured away thrashings in their last games, but I think this will be a good game nevertheless.
Four weeks ago, I would've predicted a Nottingham Forest win. But Charlton have improved slightly, and Nottingham Forest are on a bad run, so I'll go for Charlton.
Prediction: 0-1Peterborough v PlymouthI think Plymouth will go safely through to the 4th round, as they have a good away record.
Prediction: 0-2Reading v BurnleyI'm glad we've got Burnley at home in the FA Cup. At least it's a team we've been used to in the Championship, and not a team who we've lost to in the past this season such as Arsenal or Portsmouth.
As long as Steve Coppell doesn't rest too many of his good players (like he usually does

), Reading should cruise safely to the next round.
Prediction: 3-0Tamworth v NorwichFor the second year running, Tamworth have made it to the 3rd round of the FA Cup, and were very unluckly to lose to Stoke last season. They now face similar opposition in the form of Norwich, whose away form in the league has been OK, but not great.
I think Tamworth will earn the replay at Carrow Road they deserve.
Prediction: 1-1West Ham v BrightonWest Ham haven't been doing well recently. They've conceded 9 goals in their last 3 games, and haven't won since beating Manchester United.
Brighton haven't had a good run of results either, losing their last 4 games, and winless in 5. Brighton have scored 11 goals in the last two FA Cup rounds, even though they were against non-league opposition.
As a result, I feel Brighton will produce a shock victory, and make the Hammers fans even more angry.
Prediction: 0-1Cardiff v TottenhamThis is a bad time for Cardiff to be playing Premiership opposition in the FA Cup. They are now winless in 10 games, 7 of which have been draws.
Tottenham's away form is poor, but they should win this match.
Prediction: 1-3Car Expert
