Arsenal are 2-2 now.

But Leicester are still winning biggrin.gif

Orient lost rolleyes.gif

Reading are now six points clear of the drop zone smile.gif

Gah! Lost the Old Firm match. No surprise really. And Forfar lost too sad.gif

But won the Boat Race, so not an entirely terrible day.
barry-clari
Charlton lost again. A totally hopeless display, I'm afraid, despite the two goals. The better side won. sad.gif
barry-clari
Today, Charlton are going to attempt to really surprise me, and win at Plymouth...

barry-clari
Looks like Portsmouth are going to win the first FA Cup semi-final...
Car Expert
Not a good start for Charlton - their goalkeeper has been sent off already...

Car Expert

Not a good start for Leics - they've just let in a penalty

Oh, and another goal

Oh, and another

Oh and I forgot the sent off person

(so that's 3-0)
Car Expert
Wow... Beattie's scored 3 and missed a penalty!

Reading have just conceded against Newcastle sad.gif

Why did it have to be against Plymouth?! sad.gif Well, never mind.
Gutted that, once again, Dundee United let Rangers off the hook! Still, looks like United are heading in the right direction. unsure.gif

Reading handed Fulham their first away win in 33 Premier League games sad.gif

Great win for Queen of the South who have reached their first ever Scottish Cup final, winning 4-3 against Aberdeen. This now means if Rangers lose to Partick Thistle in the quarter-final replay tomorrow, there will be an all Division 1 final (as the other team left is St Johnstone). Rangers have now got a great chance to do the quadruple, and if they reach the final, Queen of the South will be in the UEFA Cup next season. Doubt they'll get further than Gretna or Dunfermline though...

As of next season, the Scottish Cup runner-up will not qualify for Europe. The place will instead go to the team who finishes 4th in the SPL.

I agree - great win for Queens! Wonder if Partick will cause an upset tomorrow?

They've got a good chance. Either way, the Queens won't mind.

Charlton drew 1-1 with Southampton, which pretty much means we won't reach the play-offs, I'd say. sad.gif

Reading are starting to look a bit vulnerable CE sad.gif

We are sad.gif. We've still got to play Arsenal away (who we may get a result against), Wigan away (which we'll probably lose), Tottenham at home (which we'll probably lose too), and Derby away (which we should win).

Out of the five teams at the bottom (take Derby out of the equation), we've probably got the easiest game on the last day of the season. Bolton have the hardest, going to Chelsea.

I think Reading may get something against Spurs too. Spurs appear to have gone on their summer holidays early...

With a bumpy pitch at Partick's ground and Rangers possibly feeling jetlagged after their European exploits, it could make for an interesting afternoon!

Rangers are through.

Yes, Rangers will be expected to get to the final. However, St. Johnstone will be no pushovers in the semi - possibility of an upset perhaps?

2-0 to Arsenal I'm afraid CE. The reporter on the television said that Reading are playing poorly too...

Charlton's season begins its closing chapters today away at QPR. Want to see the end of the season now, to be honest...

Charlton are losing 1-0.

Newport County are winning, which means Lewes will win promotion today as it stands biggrin.gif

Half-time : Dundee United 0 - Hibs 0
United playing some lovely stuff but final delivery lacking quality; could be partly nerves as a third place in the league is ultimately at stake.Off to watch the second half!

We could've done with keeping him... sad.gif

Can we have some good Charlton news please... sad.gif
Car Expert
Reading draw with Wigan, meaning that we must get something against Spurs next week to avoid dropping into the relegation zone (Birmingham play Fulham next week).

Orient were thrashed 4-1 by league-leaders Swansea. Funny how we were second in the table earlier in the season and now we'll end up finishing 14th...rolleyes.gif

Lewes end their season with a 3-0 win at Weston SM. Looking forward to seeing them play in the Blue Square Premier next season with the likes of Wrexham, Rushden and York.

Car Expert
barry-clari
Guess what? Charlton were soundly beaten. Again. sad.gif

So it will be an all-English Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester United...

Yes, they seem to have enjoyed quite a bit of luck in the competition! (Takes me back to memories of Dundee United in 1987 wub.gif ) ....only we didn't win sad.gif
Commiserations, too on the plight of Charlton and Reading. Let's hope for a better season in '08/9!

Poor MisterJay/nicki_flute... sad.gif

Charlton did their best to save Leicester, winning 4-1 at home to Coventry. If Leicester had scored just once, it'd have been Coventry playing League 1 football next season.

Nice to see Charlton's season end on a high, let's hope for promotion next time round... smile.gif

Eastbourne will join Lewes in the Blue Square Premier.

Other news from the BSP - Altrincham may yet again avoid relegation for the third successive season: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...own/7392851.stm
