I've had a look on the news website now. If it's a spoof then they've done it really well. If it is true though Chelsea will be bound to get round it on appeal though - they always seem to be able to get exactly what they want.

I thought it was a bit of a random joke for Barry to have made (and he doesn't normally do that kind of thing), but it seemed too bizarre to be true.

I was very surprised when I heard Flossie...it does, I agree, sound very unbelievable...

Chelsea better hope they don't suffer too many injuries, especially with the African Cup of Nations this season...

England will probably squeeze out a win from somewhere. Who should start up front - Heskey or Defoe? I think Defoe should be given a chance to start an England match, then again if you want an impact substitute, then maybe he should start from the bench. But we've always got Peter Crouch in reserve anyway, so I'd say Defoe.

Scotland will need to win against the Dutch - a draw won't be enough if they are to be one of the eight teams participating in the play-offs. If Scotland do win, Northern Ireland may miss out if they finish second in their group...

I'd still probably say use Defoe as an impact substitute, and start with Heskey, which I know goes against popular thought...

Tranmere don't look at all good f#m . Charlton look to be a decent team this year, but we really shouldn't be beating anyone 4-0 at their own ground. Sad to say, a managerial change I now feel is needed, and sacking your previous manager I don't think was at all a good move...
