Wigan beat Arsenal because of an away goals rule. That's new to me!

In what competition? If you mean Premiership, Liverpool are higher.

Car ExpertAway goals rule has been in the League Cup for a few years. Essentially, after extra time, away goals count double, so in the Arsenal-Wigan tie, even though it was 2-2, one of Wigan's goals was scored away from home; none of Arsenal's were. --> Wigan *technically* won 3-2.

Sheffield Wednesday, Leyton Orient, them Brentford... Charlton's cup run gets steadily difficult. I'd like to say that this will be our year, but we've been giant-killed so often that I'd prefer to play another premiership team. Still, could be worse, it could be Colchester!!

Curbs would make a great England manager, they'd win all the first qualifying matches, but then they'd have to sack him before the rot sets in!!

,but then as an Addick you have to learn to cope with an awful lot of downs compared to ups..........
Wouldn't have it any other way though- it somehow adds to the excitement/agony (delete as appropriate

Absolutely, it annoys me how there are suddenly so many more Chelsea fans now. They used to be my childhood pick-a-random-team-so-you-can-say-you-support-them team but I've given up on that now because their money situation is just crazy. Charlton are my favourite Prem team because I saw them play my team Plymouth about two years ago and it was a really good match, 2-2 in the end.
