Here's my take on the ups and downs:
PREMIER LEAGUE
Title / Europe
It's Man Utd's title to lose now. Only Arsenal can realistically challenge them. I think Man City will qualify for the Champions League, and Chelsea will somehow find a way to get fourth place.
Relegation
At the moment, I can't see anything other than three of the four W teams to go down. Out of the other teams above them, Birmingham are probably the most vulnerable. I did say that Blackpool might get sucked into the relegation battle, but that win against Spurs was so crucial for them. If they can win two out of their next three games (Wolves A, Chelsea H, Blackburn A), then I think they'll be fine.
As for the W teams, Wolves have had some good results against the top teams, including that away victory against Liverpool and the win against Man Utd that ended their unbeaten record. The major problem for them is that they're not beating the teams around them and they've conceded too many late goals recently, which is why they're bottom of the league. Their fixture list doesn't look great either, so I think it'll be tough for them, which is a shame really.
Now to Wigan, and I'm not sure what to say about them. You never know what you're going to get with Wigan - sometimes they play well, other times they don't. So I think they'll probably go down after six seasons in the top flight. Their run-in to the end of the season, is mixed, shall we say. They have some winnable games, but have got quite a few games against the top teams coming up in the next few weeks.
Which leaves the two Wests. West Brom are a yo-yo team, but with Roy Hodgson now in charge, it's hard to say whether they will make progress or not. They will probably do a Burnley and go down having made it into the top four earlier in the season. With West Ham, I don't know why but I think they're probably my favourites to stay up out of the four W teams. But if they're going to stay up, they're going to have to do something that only West Brom have managed before - stay up having been bottom at Christmas.
CHAMPIONSHIP
Promotion
QPR will go up, barring a dramatic turn in fortunes. As for the other automatic promtion place, it'll be one of Norwich, Nottingham Forest, Cardiff or Swansea.
Norwich have had such as good season and it would be a great achievement for them if they went up, having got promoted from League One last season. They never give up, and have scored so many late goals to clinch crucial points. But the question is, is it too early for them to get promoted? The general consensus I've heard on the BBC local radio is that maybe it might be better for them to have another season in the Championship just to develop the team and then really go for it next season.
Nottingham Forest have had a brilliant run of form since mid-December to get them up into the promotion mix. But they have had some poor results recently against Scunthorpe and Preston. But if that ends up only being a small blip, then who would bet against them clinching automatic promotion?
Cardiff have been banging on the door for promotion for so many season now, so surely this is Cardiff's year, isn't it? Or will Welsh rivals Swansea stop them in their tracks? Like Norwich, it would be some achievement for them to get promoted having been in League One only a few seasons ago.
I don't think Leeds will go up. If anything, there may be a battle for the final play-off place between them, Leicester, Burnley, Hull and possibly Reading. I hope Reading can make it, but they need to start converting some of those draws into victories.
So I'm going for QPR, Cardiff and Forest to go up.
Relegation
I think the bottom three now will be the bottom three come the end of the season. Preston look stranded, Scunthorpe are always the bookies favourites to go down, and Sheff Utd just can't buy a win at the moment. If anyone's going to make any progress, it'll probably be Scunthorpe, especially after that comeback victory against Sheff Utd on Tuesday.
As for Boro, they have played better than they did earlier in the season, and have been on a decent, if not spectacular, run of form of late, so I think they'll be fine. Derby, Palace and Doncaster are the most vulnerable I believe.
LEAGUE ONE
Promotion
Like QPR, it's hard to see Brighton not get promoted. As for the two other promotion spots, it's going to be very tight.
Leyton Orient will continue their march up the table and surprise everyone by winning promotion!
No, realistically I'm going to predict the second automatic promotion spot will go to Huddersfield. Whenever I've seen them play, they do play some very good passing football, a bit like Reading. But defensively, they can be a bit lacklustre. But I'd like to see them have a crack in the Championship and I think they can establish themselves as a force in that league.
Out of the other teams, I think Southampton will claim the third promotion spot. Sadly I think Bournemouth will miss out, but it would be some achievement if they did go up, considering they were bottom of the Football League two season ago. On current form, I think Charlton will probably miss out too.
Relegation
Plymouth look doomed. I can't see Dagenham staying up, but amazingly they're only two points from safety, so it'll be a real surprise if they can do it. Bristol Rovers and Yeovil will join them.
LEAGUE TWO
Promotion
Chesterfield are definite favourites to win promotion. I think Wycombe and Rotherham will also go up automatically, with Bury winning the play-off final.
Relegation
Barnet and Stockport are the favourites to go down. Burton Albion are only a point ahead of Stockport, but have got six games in hand, so theoretically they should be fine. If Bradford went down, that would be a real shock, considering they were in the top flight only ten years ago.
BLUE SQUARE PREMIER
Promotion
Can't see anyone other than Crawley winning the title. They're three points behind league leaders Wimbledon, but have got five games in hand, so they should romp clear. As for the second promotion place, it's most likely going to be one of Wimbledon, Luton or Wrexham. The final play-off place is currently occupied by Fleetwood, but I would fancy one of Rushden, Darlington or even Gateshead to make a late dash for the play-offs, all of whom have three games in hand over Fleetwood.

Tranmere's lost two games in the last minute, but they ought to beat Yeovil this weekend. They got themselves out of trouble with two good away wins at Plymouth and Sheff Wed, then they lost the next two !

QPR today. League leaders. We have lots of our strongest players injured (especially in defense) and our strikers are still rather goal-shy.

We don't have a hope.

We're level on points and GD with Derby though... (provided they don't get more points than us today

). That means that if they concede more goals than us we go above them - and relagation could well be decided on GD come the end of the season.
