Well Birmingham have won a place in Europe. That puts more pressure on the other European contenders to be in the top 6 in the Premier league. ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City are the current top 6 and were all expected at the start of the season to gain European places - an unexpected destination for the FA cup would cut it down to 5 European places. There is a lot to play for still...

I've never thought of that. If Man Utd, Arsenal, Birmingham or Man City win the FA Cup (assuming the latter qualifies for the Champions League), then 6th place will be very important come the end of the season. The likes of Aston Villa, Everton, Bolton and Stoke will have something to say about that...

It's very possible that Birmingham could be at Wembley again for the FA Cup semi-finals...

Reading face Everton in the FA Cup. With Everton fielding a strong line-up and the fact we have a reserve goalkeeper at the moment, I'd be amazed if we get a decent result.
