The sad thing is that if Blackpool did manage to win and stay up, people will now just say that that's because Fergie let them. I personally think that Blackpool have done well this year - they've played honestly, stuck to their style, persevered and have taken some big scalps. I know that the table doesn't lie. etc etc, but I think they are the team (from those threatened with the drop) who most deserve to stay up.

I think they deserve to have another crack at it next season...

Man Utd will field a weakened team. They played well against Schalke, but struggled against Crawley, so it will depend which Man Utd turns up...

Spurs still need points to secure 5th place, so it'll be tough for Birmingham. Stoke is not an easy place to go for Wigan, but Stoke may have a hangover from the FA Cup. Having said that, Tony Pulis will want them to secure a top half finish. As for Wolves v Blackburn, who knows...

I don't know really. He didn't do well for us when he was in charge. He could've been a good manager, but he had a lot of bad luck with results last season and then left by mutual consent. Some fans may argue that he didn't do so well for us, yet how is he now proving to be successful at Swansea...

But we'll be desperate to beat them if we do play them. But we won't be thinking about that until we get past Cardiff tomorrow...

It's interesting how finely-tuned the manager-team-club relationship needs to be, e.g:

Ian Holloway - awful at Leicester and took them out of the champo in the wrong direction, then a real success at Blackpool taking them into the prem.

Brendan Rodgers - poor for you, very successful at Swansea.

A certain Scot who shall not be named - good results with Celtic, came close to totally wrecking our club.

Oh dear, poor old Forest not in the play off final...

They made heavy weather of it though! Having said that, they really ought to get past MK Dons or Peterborough in the final : undoubtedly Huddersfield were one of the more impressive visitors to the Valley this season.
