Would anyone else here be a fan of yann tiersen? He did the music for Amelie and Goodbye Lenin...and i just luuurve the sound of it! Happy music! Yaaay!

I did an essay about his music on Amelie at Uni and couldn't praise him enough. He is one cool cool composer!

I haven't seen Goodby Lenin but I really want to!

He is really good. I love his music, it's very gallic.
I love some of the other stuff he's done, too - the song "Monochrome" is very good. Also, a remix of heavy-rock band Noir Desir's "A Ton Etoile" is one to look out for.

I completely agree, I love the soundtrack to Amelie and Goodbye Lenin and recent bought one of his earlier albums which is just as enchanting!!

Goodbye Lenin is a really good film - very sad, made me cry but in a "ooh I've just watched a good film and had a good cry" kind of a way!

I love Yann Tiersen, I think his work is great! I've never seen Good Bye Lenin...I'm going to try and find it now!
