Hi everyone,

I am taking my first singing exam, but am going in at Grade 6 level (I have previously done Grade 8 piano, Grade 7 theory and Grade 6 Flute). We (me and my singing teacher) are having a few issues sourcing traditional songs for the unaccompanied memory part of the exam. Does anyone have any suggestions on good unaccompanied songs (my range is between low E and E two octaves above middle C, although comfortably I would prefer to have highest note around C).

Also remember when picking your song that you can sing it an any key that suits you. Don't worry about the key you originally find the music in - experiment until it is best for your voice, then learn it in that key.
