my comments sheet arrived this 3rd august (no certificate?!) and this is what was said

Rondo - "You began well, establishing a firm pulse and articulating the opening phrases confidently. The middle section had some uneven rhythm but this was a good attempt at the style" 24/30

La Tarentelle - "Played with plenty of rhythmic energy and a well projected melody but a few stumbles occured. The middle section was nicely contrasted" 23/30

New Orleans Nightfall - "An effective opening here. The quick section wasn't quite under technical control and in the final section the pulse needs to be more consisten as the composer indicates" 23/30

Scales and Arpeggios - "Patterns were basically known but there were some false starts and rather frequent slips in the notes" 14/21

Sightreading - "Mostly accurate and played with a reasonably steady pulse" 17/21

Aural Tests - "Unfortunately there was little accuracy of pitch in A or B but C was accurate except for a slip in the clapping" 10/18

Total - 111/15-

Certificates arrive with the report and,if not submitting entries via internet, postal entry form too plus other bits and pieces.

this sheet was sent directly from the exam centre by my music teacher which came in an envelope, i should get the certificate when i get my GCSE results.
