Does anyone know the procedure for obtaining replacement exam results. My daughter's piano teacher has received the results and says that she has forwarded them to her by post. They have not arrived and my daughter is becoming increasingly anxious.
The complication is that my daughter is not continuing with this teacher and she is therefore choosing to be uncooperative.
At the end of the day my daughter worked hard for her exam and deserves to receive her result. ( She has now been waiting five weeks)
Please help.

Contact the AB yourself, perhaps? They will have records and duplicate copies of everything.

Too bad about your poor daughter being upset like that. sad.gif Hope you get it sorted pronto!

Contact the ABRSM yourself. (abrsm@abrsm.ac.uk or 020 7636 5400) They should be able to repeat the marks and certificate but you may have to pay for this as the results were originally received from the board and 'went missing' after they were received by her teacher. Surely the teacher should be able to tell you the mark your daughter got.

And the teacher will have her certificate too if she passed...
crazy cow
that's really unfair of her teacher mad.gif why is she being so awkward? people move on, can't she just accept that?! mad.gif mad.gif
but yes, contacting the associated board is the best (and by the looks of things the only) way of getting your daughter's results
hope you get them soon!

I once had a student's certificate and results detour in the post between me and student- thankfully I had photocopied the mark sheet. The originals got returned to the AB who then sent them back... I think it was my incompetence as the AB franked the envelope so I hadn't realised it was too heavy for a normal stamp and the PO returned to the wrong sender. I am sure this will eventually work out too!

If I have to send any results by post I send the photocopy and keep the original until the students next lesson. Then if it does go astray its only a photocopy and the original won't get battered in the post either.
