Hi,
When i practised on Friday, my trumpet wasnt sounding very healthy. So, for the first time we got out my Reka Des cleaning set, and me and my mum got to it. After cleaning it, we left it out to dry overnight. But, horror of horrers, when we put it back together it was not working. It took us about ten minutes to work out that the valves were in the wrong casings! blink.gif

Has anyone else made this mistake?

I haven't put the valves back wrong coz mine were numbered and I took mine out separately, but after cleaning mine once, it was playing a tone out of tune!

lol! I wouldn't have noticed either, but my tuba friend was sat next to me, so told me what to do.

it always happens somewhen- best advice is to take the valves out 1 at a time - it is one of the problems that always gets you at the most innapropriate moments - for example - halfway throught a concert last week my valves jammed- i took them out oiled them and then put them back in - the WRONG WAY - stood up to play a solo and - PHHHUUUUUWWW!!!!!
