smile.gif Hello there!

I'm new to all this, so please be gentle!

My name's Pam, I'm 21, and I've just moved to Cheltenham.

This new move has come at the same time as I've decided to learn the sax (I already play the clarinet, though I'm a bit rusty) so I was hoping I might combine the two and find some new friends as well! biggrin.gif

Anyone out there fancy meeting up to muck around with duets or other stuff? I will play pretty much anything (if I can) but I always like playing funky music like Swing, Rock n Roll, The Beatles etc.

Failing that, anyone out there fancy having a drink in Cheltenham? I don't know anybody here yet!

hi and this may be a paradoxical reply as I live nowhere near cheltenham but i can say hello!
i love that part of the country, the more rural areas.

good luck and sure you'll meet people here. do you play jazz sax? which sax? there's lots of opinion here that no matter how long since you last played if music is in you it stays and you'll always be doing something musical.

i could do with a drink, even a virtual one so i'll raise my glass at 8pm to say skol!

hope you settle in well!

My drinking in cheltenham days are very limited these days - I live in Gloucester and have 2 kids!

But if you ever need a pianist pm me!

Hi!

I live in Evesham. I play piano and I once took a sax lesson but decided to stick to the piano. I like all types of music but I am especially drawn to blues piano, boogie-woogie and I suppose I'd better say classical as I have played alot of it when doing the first 7 grades!

Welcome to the forums.
