I dont really have a lot of experience with clarinets except that I'm a huge Benny Goodman fan and I rented one in high school for a little while, but never could afford lessons. I've been wanting to get back into playing the clarinet. I Just bought a used Bundy clarinet from the classifieds that I talked down to $40. The cork is not in good condition and some of the pads are a bit sticky, but they aren't too bad. How much would it cost to get the cork repaired? Should I do it myself? And I have no idea what model number it is, i found only one number on it, that is 1172221. Where should I go from here? All the parts are intact, and seems playable, I could even make a few notes sound. My more important question is how would I find the model or value of this clarinet?
