If all sides face south it has to be at the south pole - is it only at the north pole there are polar bears - so the answer is there 's no bear??
Otherwise the answer is white!

That's a hard one!! Could it be any colour because can't any bear go into the house? I've got a pretty easy one just not for me!!! ok Why is it illegal for a man who lives in London to be buried in Birmingham...

Assuming it's a polar bear, and polar bears are found at the north pole - the bear is black.

A house can't have all the sides facing south unless it's all one flat wall. So the bear is half white (the side nearest to the wall) and the other brown, facing the sun!

Just a half-baked guess!

u can have all walls facing south if it is built around the north pole, assuming it's the outside of the wall we mean to be facing south. the bear is white.... i think
chocolatedog
Aug 19 2005, 06:39 PM
I think the bear is white - polar bears live in the circumpolar arctic (not antarctic) and for a house to have all its walls facing south it must be fair and square sitting on top of the north pole, (assuming you can get all the bricks etc,) which in fact would make it an igloo not a house in the first place and I'm completely lost now unless it's the right answer anyway!

They're black skinned with transparent fur, and don't look anywhere near as white when taken out of the arctic. If you've seen them in zoos, they always surround them by white painted walls or people would be disappointed!

A guy flies a plane. Fully loaded and nothing is wrong. He prepares to drop a bomb. When he pushes the button, nothing happens. Why?
I'll give the answer after lunch on Sat if no one gets it.

In answer to the bear one, yes, the, bear is white.
YAP, interesting fact, but the polar bear is still in the arctic, it would have to be because all the sides of the house are facing south. Therefore it's white. Well, appears white anywho

1.What colour are the cushions?
2. What colour is the table?
3. What colour are the stairs?

A guy called BOB was flying over the FRENCH coast on a BRIGHT PURPLE hot air balloon and he was drinking a big glass of sherry. But he accidentally dropped it because he was a bit stupid. He got another glass out but he dropped it again. So... which one landed on the ground first and why?

It's possible that neither of them did - maybe they both fell in the sea.
Oddball
Aug 21 2005, 02:39 PM
Is it the hot air balloon that landed first, because the sherry glasses would have smashed....or fallen in the sea...

Of course, they could both have landed in the hot air balloon itself....

I think the first glass, because it had sherry in it. The second one was empty, hence lighter and fell at a slower speed??
Either that, or the sherry made the balloon into a huge fireball, and everything became BOMB ALASKA

That's a common misconception: the acceleration of an object towards the earth due to gravity does not depend on its weight; the only thing that can make a difference is air resistance, which is why feathers fall more slowly than cricket balls. A brick and a cricket ball, though, will fall at the same rate.
