Hey guys,
Do any of you know of any decent composition books? I.E ones that help you to compose and teach you about harmony and counterpoint and stuff? I have done lots of composition before, so I don't need the real basics, but I need something that isn't too complicated. I had previously seen a book on Amazon.co.uk which was about harmony that Mozart and others had used (a previous version obviously) but I can no longer find it.
Any ideas?

For harmony you could try the harmony in practice book (bright orange). It's really helpful. Or the grade 6 theory book (but it took me a while to decipher the pages of text).

I agree, the Harmony in Practice book by Anna Butterworth is really good.
