Yeah, but if I sleep for more than around 8 and a half hours, I feel really tired. (Plus I woke up at 7:30

). Actually, I didn't oversleep...hmmm, but I still feel tired...

Doing anything except the work Im supposed to be doing. Got one assignment left (well really 2 but kinda done most of the other one) and just have no motivation or concentration.
I have already gone round my room making a giant blu-tack ball from random stuff on walls Ive taken down in preparation for moving house (at the end of september!), made a cup of green tea, looked at rubbish on the internet, taken out the recycling....ANYTHING EXCEPT WHAT I NEED TO DO! You know how it is!

This may sound like an odd question but why have you got history work to do if you've finished all your GCSEs and presumably haven't started any A-levels yet? I'm guessing it's not for fun if you're struggling to find motivation

Your school seems to be overworking you a bit! Quite a lot of schools manage without doing that! Does the school you're at only allow people into the sixth form if they went to the pre-16 school as well or do they send out the work to other people too? Don't let them stress you too much with too much work!

I'm celebrating (with a glass of port - what else?!) the fact that I've finished wallpapering my music room and that it is well on the way now to looking a lot better than it did before.
The last time it was decorated was about 17 years ago, so wallpaper and carpets were definitely looking the worse for wear! I've now got rid of the old carpet (vast piles were under it of that horrid yellowy-greeny dust when the foam underlays disintegate - yuk, what a mess!

), spruced up all the paintwork and done all the papering, which was a marathon task even though the room's quite small, because none of the walls are smooth and none of the corners are straight!
Tomorrow I'm putting the border round the top, and helping my husband with the shelves he's making for me, and hopefully putting a few things back on the walls (mirror, pictures) to make it look more homely again. The next drama is going to be with the new carpet - will they be able to fit it in time before the new term begins..........?
