All this talk about cows reminds me of the elderly veterinary professor who'd devoted his life's work studying the rear ends of cows.
When he was finally presented with an award for all he had done - he thanked the assembled crowd, and commented that
it wasn't the first time he'd received a pat on the back.

Forget being chased by cows. The problems begin when they escape from the field next door and try and set up home in your conservatory... we've also had to herd them off the main road a few times etc...
Oh the joys of living in the countryside.
(And I'm afriad I'm not awake enough for any more puns... sorry...

Too many bad puns put me in a bad mooood! On the being chased by cows theme, my friend and I were being slowly followed by about 5 bullocks in a herd of about 25 so I stopped, turned round and gave them the evils - they stopped dead in their tracks!

It probably is a common problem... one of our ranger leaders took a group for gold D of E and got chased by a herd of cows

. We thought it was quite funny though, when they told us about it

Getting chased by a cow is quite common. I've been chased by two angry cows once. It scares the ###### out of ya.
