Just back from sky diving!!!!!!! It was amazing!!!! Freefall was fantastic, fell at 120mph for 4000 feet and then the parachute was released and I could see the whole of cornwall right down to the lizard!! Fell over when landing, but who cares!!!!!!!
Chris went out first, last words being "holy ****" before jumping out the plane, the Isla who despite being about 1000 feet below me I could still hear screaming (and they could also hear her on the ground, even though she was 3000 feet above them) and last me!
And we had camera men too who had cameras attached to their helmets so photos and a DVD on the way!!
It was amazing, everyone should do it!
Wow. I'm on such a high now!
And sorry I just have to tell people!!!!

Wow!! I got the chance to do that for charity once, but I was too young. Shame really, it was a 10,000 feet one.

Glad you had a great time

yeh this was a 10,000 feet one 2. Freefall for 4000 then glide down for the other 6!

sounds cool!! was it a tandem jump?
I did a 3.5K static line jump for charity once... it did nothing to cure me of my fear of heights
what a buzz tho.. it was over salisbury plain at about 9pm on a summer's evening... once the parachute had deployed it was a fantastic ride all the way down

I live near Salisbury Plain. Not far from Imber. That must have been great. Could you see as far as Stonehenge?

I am not sure I would've been brave enough anyway, but was put off when a friend's parachute didn't open properly... she was on the TV a while back - they don't really know why she didn't die!

Oooh. Was she Ok? That's what puts me off it as well as knowing that you are just jumping out of a plane and just falling for 4,000 feet.

She actualy only sustained fairly minor injuries in the end - combination of factors they think but by rights she should be dead!

You'd never get me out through the door.....
I used to be really good at climbing up climbing frames and trees.. trouble is when I got up there I froze and had to be helped down...
