Tell us more. What's so great about it? Someone on this forum has said something about the quality/quantity of sound emanating from the violin and I am interested but the price kinda makes me hesitate? wink.gif

Ok folks, we got in a stowemaster rest to have a look at. Now, how in the world do you get the arm away from the body of the rest so the thing can actually be used? Where do you pull? It looks to me as if the thing is just going to pull away totally rather than merely pull out of the "socket" as it's supposed to. I'm baffled sad.gif

Cancel that - sorted it. Can't try it out though - very painful shoulder sad.gif

What's the matter, Liz? Why the very painful shoulder?

Tess - Liz mentioned on a recorder thread that she's sprained her shoulder sad.gif .

Liz - Hope it's recovering. Sprains always take longer to heal than one expects, so don't push it too far before it's OK. (I'm still getting niggles from the ankle I sprained almost a year ago sad.gif )

Sprains can take longer to heal than breaks apparently. Do take care of yourself Liz!

Thanks. The doctor said it was a sprain but I wonder if perhaps I didn't make it clear enough that it did not come on suddenly. it came on gradually. i have all the symptoms of tendonitis. Right at the moment i can't even play enough to test out instruments for customers, I just can't get my left hand fingers, except the first finger, onto the bottom string. I guess if this goes on much longer I'll be playing cello - at least I can still play that.
