Hello everyone...
Does anyone know where I can get a photo printed onto a t-shirt, please?

Just for fun, I am going to ask my violin teacher for a photo of him... and guess what... this is going to be fun... tongue.gif I asked mum whether we can get his photo printed onto a t-shirt for me because I am his no.1 fan! Mum said tonight that she has no idea where to do this. blink.gif

Can anyone tell me where we can get this done? huh.gif

Any idea how much it will cost? unsure.gif

We also need ideas on the VERY BRIEF wording to put on the shirt. Please sad.gif *doggy begging* make it funny! laugh.gif Boy, he'll be in for a surprise when we turn up in them! biggrin.gif

For example, "X's fan club" is too boring a title to adopt. *yawn* Please suggest something more creative? ph34r.gif

Thank you,

There are places near us who do that... serious photocopy places.

And several places along the prom at Blackpool... smile.gif

You can buy special paper to print your photo on and iron on to a T shirt yourself. It IS that plasticky knid of stuff when it is on the shirt though.. sad.gif, the stuff that rustles when you move.

THANKS A LOT, sbhoa! We will go to a big photocopyshop. Nearest one here is in Loughton. Mum and I have been there many times before to do photocopying. But but but we can't use special paper for him to print his photo as he mustn't suspect a thing!

Can we just ask him for an ordinary photo and then take it to the photocopy shop to do the rest?

A decent printer or photocopier place should be able to do it for you from an ordinary photo. The larger your original print, the better, obviously. Alternatively Boots or Jessops will print onto t-shirts from photos/negatives/memory sticks.

You can do it on the web. e.g. www.truprint.co.uk -- you upload your digital photos to their central server and then choose what you want to do with them, e.g. mugs, mouse mats, T-shirts etc.

I can't think of any titles, but are you/is he leaving to go somewhere else? Coz when we were trying to get pictures of our music teacher, that was the excuse we used to her!

Or you could say that you need a picture because a friend of yours from a different school thinks that they know who he is, but won't believe you until they see a picture of him.

Or talk to his wife?!

Thanks. elmo but we are not going to give him any reasons/excuses for asking for a photo of him because HE already has my photo. He likes it and said he wants to frame it! He also joked that he always want his students to look back many years later to see their mistakes - horrors! - in old photos! ohmy.gif How cheeky... tongue.gif Maybe he'll just guess I want to frame his, too!

WHAT mum and I are fishing for on this thread (is thread the right word?) are SHORT CAPTIONS maybe, two or three humorous words to print on the t-shirts... smile.gif

Thanks so far,

I don't think anyone's raised this, but make sure your t-shirt is light-coloured, preferably white. Only a few places use opaque and white inks so check with the printer if you want to print on a black or dark one.

ps you can buy t-shirt paper for a home printer. You don't need software if you have paintshop pro or similar to horizontally flip the design before you print.

Good point! I'd like one white and one black one but mum didn't know we have to check with the printer first before we travel there (to Loughton). Now we do.

Cool! Pet Paganini sounds cool! Pity I can't use that because he's old enough to be my grandad! laugh.gif Actually, I would like to be HIS Pet Paganini. tongue.gif "Something" Fiddler should be good! Keep the ideas coming, folks. tongue.gif
