Ok, I took my exam 2 months ago now, but my certificate still hasn't arrived! The results came in the post a few days after the exam. Is it a suitable time to phone the Birmingham representative and badger them?

Trinity take ages I think. Ringing might not be a bad idea but I've known Trinity to take several months to send certificates

I've waited over three months for Trinity certificates. When they eventually did arrive I'd forgotten about them.

Ring and yell down the phone- works a treat!

Next time - oh believe me there will be a next time!!! biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I spoke to a representative of Trinity exams the other day who says Trinity are probably on holiday, so perhaps this is why there is a delay. It 's been 8 weeks now for me, I thought that was a long time, so I hope it doesnt turn into months for mine too sad.gif

Well at least you got your results after a few days! smile.gif

With the AB you may have to wait three or four weeks!

Trinity dip certificates are partly hand-written in flouncy script which causes some delay.. not sure if it applies to Grade exams but my ATCL took about 4 months to arrive... I'm planning on receiving the fruits of my recent successful LTCL sometime in the new year.. wink.gif

Yes that is a good thing, and I think settles the nerves, but that bad thing is that you forget about the exam and when the certificate comes I would have probably taken my next grade tongue.gif

Has anyone got their Trinity certificates yet? I am still waiting for mine ... It's been over two months now, and it's almost time to consider sending the exam form off for doing grade 2, but I'm not sure if it will be the same that time too sad.gif

I'm still waiting for my LTCL cert from the exam in July ....

My pupils took Guildhall exams on July 10th and still haven't got their certificates despite numerous phonecalls!
joyjoy
Hmmmm it seems very strange that we should wait this long. Fingers crossed they will come soon ...

Phone your area representative?
JohnS
My two Trinity certificates came this morning. The exam was taken in July.

I still havent received Guildhall certificate from 11th July. Phoned a couple of times now and the last time was Friday when they told me that the certificate cannot be printed yet as the results are not on the computer system. Got the results about 3-4 weeks after the exam.

Grade 8 recorder - 21st June
I know I passed - got the mark sheet by the end of the same week
Still no certificate, and as my first grade 8, and only second distinction, I really want that piece of paper!

I have emailed my representative, said she's sure they'll be along shortly. My fingers have been crossed for a very long time now blink.gif

That must make it very hard to practice... unsure.gif

Woooooooooo! Just wanted to share with you all that my LTCL cert arrived today, four months or so after the exam! biggrin.gif

Congratulations. Somehow I don't feel as if I've really passed until I have the certificate! smile.gif

I'm STILL certificate-less. From since June. Anyone else around to keep me company? Trinity have a cunning plan - they promise to answer in 48 hours, and they do - to tell you they've received your email and have passed it on to the relevant department. But Relevant Department itself still hasn't replied.

That has to be the silliest reason I've ever seen for changing exam boards! If all you want is the certificate to frame perhaps you get get someone to forge one for you. I bet it would be cheaper than the exam entry fee...

No, my teacher phoned the area rep. Since that hasn't brought any returns, I decided to email Trinity direct, with the number at the top of the mark sheet to (hopefully) identify me.

Excuse me?!!??????

I didn't say anything about "only wanting the certificate to frame"! I wasn't even serious about changing boards, I don't even know if I'm taking another exam.

STILL no certificate, and no reply through Trinity centrally....phoned the area rep again today, and immediately felt terrible, because he didn't sound at all well. Apparently the certificate is ready to be posted out. Think I'll wait a bit more patiently for now. blink.gif
