I`ve been working hard towards my Grade 5 theory over the summer holidays but my teacher announced that she has taken the decision to no longer mark theory in her own time. I appreciate that we are all busy but was quite surpised as she`s just put her prices up and I thought that was part of the package, after all, school teachers mark homework and my previous 3 flute teachers have marked my theory for me.

Anyway, she looked at a couple of things in the lesson but said she didn`t want to mark anymore because it took up too much playing time. Ok, fair comment...but
now I`m left feeling like I have to just hope that I`ve got it right and keep practicing for the exam on my own.

Does anyone know of any good theory practice/exercise books that I can buy which have the answers in too? At least that way I could check my own.

Turnbull: Theory Time Grade 5 has answers to the questions in it. I have bought it but didnt go through it yet...I found no other books which have answers

there are some computer packages which you can buy, which are really handy! erm... theory is fun is a good book as it explains everything clearly but simple, that really helped me! however the book doesn't contain answere's, however there are questions.
