You get marked out of 30 for each of your pieces. Out of 21 for scales and arpeggios. Out of 21 for sightreading and out of 18 for aural. This is based on a piano exam and i think it applies for other classical instruments as well. Full marks is 150. Pass mark is 100. 120 marks would get you a pass with merit and 130 marks would get you a pass with distinction.
