hello

im about to embark on the DipABRSM- to cut a long story short which ive put on this web site many times in the last week- i took the LGSM at 17, failed part-left college, got a job, got married, had a family, and now want to get back into music- im planning on trying for the DipABRSM and am hjust gathering all the information i need- ive seen a reading list, but there are so many on it does anyone have advice on what they would condsider some key books to invest in as i dont want to spend money on the wrong books.
Also, in your lots opinion, what are some of the best books used in teaching piano today?

thanking you all
