also there is an EPTA site which has listings I think.

yes I go along with David's suggestions - these are the two I know.

The musicteachers one is for all instruments, but has plenty on piano.

The epta site is piano only; try putting uk piano into google.

Hope your pupil finds another good teacher!

Hi lynne

You can also try the ISM private teachers' register here.

Thanks all smile.gif I'll give these a go over the next few days, there has to be someone out there in the right area!

There is also a list of Piano Teachers at

http://www.uk-piano.org/

You could also try:

www.yell.com

and if you say the area your pupil is moving to, perhaps one of us might be able to help!!

just for the record, and to avoid possible confusion, that's the same as the epta one (uk piano ) that has already been mentioned.

Maggie, that website is the Association of Blind Piano Tuners (though it does have a link to teachers)

The EPTA site is here

How is it going with finding another teacher?

Um, there's been a bit of a hiatus so far, my geography is far too bad to know which region to click on, so I've got a lesson with this student now and I've written out all the options so he can tell me where on earth he's moving to!

Other than that, the sites look helpful, so ty all for your help smile.gif

Another option is to ask here on the forum...once you know the area! tongue.gif
