I have just had my clarinet repadded with the super pads . I love it and would recommend anyone to get them put on. rolleyes.gif

they are cork pads I think rather than skin and therefore as a result you get a better hole coverage and a better sound coming out of the clarinet. If you do a search on the net for woodwind and co in Manchester they do them and it will tell you all you ever needed to know.

Need to do some serious saving and working first they don't come cheap!

Also depends on how often I play clarinet. I'm not going to pay for that to get done and then not play it!

that is a good thought. Though I played mine over this weekend and everyone reconds the sound is much improved so much so that I was told I could pass for a flute!
