I'm the opposite: big mouthpiece= big tone (or that's the theory!), so play on either a 1C or 1 1/2 C, depending on what I'm playing.

Played a gig with someone using a plastic mouthpiece the other day - seemed quite nice (colours apart!), and dead cheap! Myatt's do them...

I Play on a denis wick size 4 mouthpiece but I find it difficult to play below middle c any advice? (I play a cornet by the way)

Hello,

I play on a vincent bach 3C, its quite big but not too big so it suits me that i get a good tone, a big sound and high notes are not a problem!

Does anyone know if you get a good tone with the coloured mouthpieces?

Wouldnt you need a coloured trumpet to match a coloured mouthpiece?

Does anyone know if you can get say a purple trumpet? I think that would be quite kool.
