This might be a dumb question, but, you know when you are at school and you have your instrument lesson/s as well as your regular subjects, well I'm hoping to go to Uni in a few years and study drama, but while I'm there, do they have teachers who give you extra lessons for your insturment, not for a particular 3 year course or anything, but just the usual lessons cause I'd hate to have to give up the piano when I get to Uni! Thanks! xxx

If you're not doing music then its unlikely you will be able to have piano lessons there unless you are able to arrange them privately. In some unis you are able to use practice rooms if you belong to the music society but it depends which uni you are planning to go to.

You could though go to one of the music desks in freshers week and ask if a 3rd year would teach you or something

I'm sure there are plenty of professional teachers around, teaching people who might do their instrument or piano as part of their degree course assessment.
This was the case when I was at Durham University back in the 80s.
Also, everyone had a piano teacher for the first year, as it was required (for keyboard harmony).
This really is no problem. As soom as you get a place, just phone the music department and ask for a piano teacher - they'll either tell you of one there and then, or arrange it for you.
Same for any other instrument.
All this is for studying music. If you're studying another subject, then as soon as you get your place at Uni, phone their music department, and they'll help, no problem at all. Most unlikely you'd need to ask a third year student, I think.
