Not really...because they're websites where you can download the music and i want to order the book.

You'll have to look on the internet unfortunatly, try Amazon or something similar, they have his CDs so I assume they have some sheet music from him as well.

They seem to have everything BUT Freedom!! It IS out in score isnt it?

I think that his most popular works are in Encore. I think that there are some other books, but have no idea what they are.

I've never heard anyone else play Hisaishi, if I ask they go, "WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA?" But then, I know very little people who can play the piano, or any other instrument really. Perhaps the triangle...

I asked my local music shop if they could order Hisaishi, but they had some trouble finding it. Plus, they weren't prepared to order something from Japan. It's worth a shot though.

Its only coz my friend is Japanese...and she's also manga/anime mad so she knows all the Hisaishi Miyazaki music. But she doesnt really now his solo stuff, like Piano Stories. My piano teacher is also Hisaishi mad. And some of my other friends now recognise the name as 'that weird Japanese music dude that Sue keeps going on about'..

A bit random but on Nippon Export (site where you can order Hisaishi sheet from) The only stuff thats avaliable that i'm thinking of getting for Crimbo are 'Encore' and this random Hisaishi compilation album. You can see whats on it here. Do you think i should get this one? Or will i get it and then end up getting all the other albums in future anyway so will end up with 2 copies of everything? Apparently i have to order soon or it wont get there from JP before Christmas.

HeeFoo has his/her own website, apparently (s)he's a composer who has worked on films (I think) and has his/her own CD(s).

I know!! I was looking at that site too!!

He's not bad at composing either but he seems so myterious, can't find much about him on the internet etc.

Hey! I've watched Howl's Moving Castle-it's good! Calcifer! Yay! The music in it is very nice too, especially towards the end. (I swear there's this bit which sounds a tiny bit like The Rain). I've got the book out from the library too, but it looks really different from the film! And Calcifer's blue!
